Hanne Hahl (1969) is a textile artist based in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Hanne works in a material-oriented way, focusing on texture and colours. Her textile collages are sewn and embroidered, making original use of leftover and recycled materials. The artworks are created over long periods of time, evolving towards a palimpsestic form through a process of experimentation and radical revision.

Hanne has studied dressmaking at the School of Arts, Crafts and Design (South Savo Vocational College), fashion design at the Academy of Design (Savonia University of Applied Sciences) and textile design at the University of Lapland.
